3D Printed Brain & Electrodes

 

This print was created at the request of a Stanford Neuro clinician, and is to be used as a teaching display. The model is divided into three main parts: the skull half, the brain half, and the wedge (as seen above). The reasoning for this print is to show how the electrodes enter the brain and interact with the ventricles inside.

The clear material represents brain matter, the black is electrodes, dark blue is ventricles, white is bone, and light blue is brain fluid/other anatomy.

 

This project was printed on the Connex 3, using the Vero materials. All design work was done inside the Stanford 3DQ Lab, and all intellectual rights belong to the respective clinician.
