Full-Color Brain Aneurysm

This print was made for our 3D Printing study we are performing in conjunction with Neuroradiology. This model shows the entanglement of vascular structures in the brain, and how they surround a pinned aneurysm. This print was outsourced and made on a 3D Systems Projet 660 gypsum (sandstone) printer. This model was printed in full-color, which was digitally applied using a peaks and valleys algorithm inside of a sculpting software package.
